Support critical marine logistics and power cable operations

Do you want to play a key role in supporting the green transition by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of equipment essential for subsea cable installation and maintenance?

As Equipment Warehouse Supervisor for Marine Operations, you will contribute directly to NKT’s mission of connecting a greener world through safe, reliable and well-coordinated marine logistics.

Ensure warehouse excellence and secure project readiness

In this role, you ensure high-quality execution of warehouse operations supporting offshore cable installation and maintenance projects. You will work closely with our onshore and offshore stakeholders to secure equipment readiness, accurate inventory and efficient logistics handling for mobilizations and demobilizations. Your work ensures that materials, tools, and cable-related components are prepared, preserved and delivered on time — enabling effective offshore campaigns.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Prepare, pack, label, preserve, and store equipment for offshore mobilization and demobilization.
  • Coordinate logistics activities, including loading, unloading, and transport planning.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and inspection documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental standards, and warehouse procedures.

This position is based in Karlskrona and collaborates with both onshore and offshore teams, including Marine Operations management, vessel personnel, subcontractors and logistics partners.

Action-oriented team player with a structured and safety-minded approach

You are someone who enjoys working in a changing operational environment, taking responsibility for your tasks while collaborating closely with colleagues. You bring a practical, solution-oriented mindset and thrive in a role that requires precision, organization and readiness to handle changing project demands. Your communication style is clear and constructive, and you take pride in maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Required skills:

  • Forklift Operator Certification, including experience with multiple forklift types
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or similar
  • Experience using warehouse management systems and RF scanners
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, stock handling and inspection routines
  • Ability to prepare, pack and document equipment for mobilization/demobilization

Join a team supporting global connectivity

With NKT’s focus on sustainability and innovation, this position offers the chance to develop your career in an international environment.
